Beautiful, sportive Rio VD Withoeve was an eye-catcher from the very beginning and was already awarded a premium when just a foal. He is now stealing the show in sporting arenas, showing limitless scope, great gallop, lightness and simply great hind legs technique.

Rio VD Withoeve sired 1.60 m jumper Untouchable (Hors La Loi II x Heartbreaker) who is not only known for his sporting talent but also for having a big heart. Heartbreaker is a great “damsire” and has, for example, produced Rabanna van Costersveld (Cornet Obolensky and Unadonja’s dam) and Zinedine’s dam. Untouchable was very successful in sport, being placed 3rd in the Valencia GP and 4th in the Helsinki GP. He is known for producing 1.60 m jumper Untouched and Holsteiner Verband’s sire Uriko (sire of our U2). 44% of Untouchable’s first progeny are competing internationally.

Rio VD Withoeve’s damline is very interesting. Ikela VD Withoeve, Rio’s dam, is the full sister of 1.45 m jumper Kazan VD Withoeve. Second dam is the sister to 1.50 m Ushuaia VD Withoeve and third dam was herself successful up to 1.50 m level.

The Belgian damline produced approved stallions Grenoble VD Withoeve and Victor VD Withoeve.
